''How'' soru kelimesi, ingilizce 'de tek başına kullanıldığı zaman "nasıl" anlamına gelir.

Bazı farklı kullanımları:

How much	"ne kadar" anlamındadır. Uncountable (sayılamayan) çokluklar için kullanılır. Fiyat sormak için de bu kalıbı kullanırız.
How many	"kaç tane" anlamındadır. Countable (sayılabilen) çokluklar için kullanılır.
How long	"ne kadar zaman alır" manasına gelebilir.
How old	"kaç yaşında" ifadesidir.
