let, help

Bu sözcükler de bazı durumlarda causative gibi kullanılır. Let kelimesinin "izin vermek" manasında kullanılabilidiğini biliyoruz.

I always let my brother use my bike.

Let kullanarak yaptığımız ingilizce cümlelerde fiil "bare infinitive" olur. Ayrıca, let, emir kipleri dediğimiz "imperative" şeklinde de kullanılır.

Örneğin: Let him go!

Let the game begin.

We have been riding the horses for a few hours. We should let them rest.

Help sözcüğü ise, hem infinitive, hem de bare infinitive ile kullanılabilir. Anlamda fark oluşmaz.
